Amazonians United for Megacycle Accommodations
Amazon's change in delivery station shift schedules is throwing our lives into chaos. They give us 2 weeks to decide between caring for our family and having a job. This is an unacceptable level of corporate control over our lives. We demand:
1. Shift schedule accommodations (non-medical & medical) for associates who can only work a part of the shift. This is especially needed by mothers, parents, and caretakers who must be home by a certain time.
2. A $2 per hour shift differential for working the megacycle shift (e.g. 1:20am-11:50am)
3. Lyft rides to and from work. It's impossible or unsafe to travel via public transportation past midnight. Amazon already provides this for NYC Amazonians, provide it for us all.
4. As already promised by Amazon corporate, give us our 20 minute paid breaks at all facilities during the pandemic. Stop cutting our breaks short!
